The archivist

Hello and welcome to the music archive. Take a look around through the songs that are stored here, with the purpose they will never be forgotten. Their histories are written in short, so you get to know their sometimes strange stories.

I’m Chris Flinterman, the person who stores these songs. I do it out of interest, to learn new things myself, and mostly: to entertain you, and to get to know your ideas and stories. Because you also have a memory stored with the song, or you re-discover it, or maybe just found it, because you never heard it. Anyway: I like to get to know your story! Comment on the songs, if you would like to share your story with the rest of the world.

New files are added on a regular basis: every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday you can read a new file. The Friday is reserved for songs that are sung in Dutch and is used on an irregular basis. Extra files are particularly added on special occassions (mostly when an artist has died).
