Positive, happy music. I love it! And most of the people thought about it that way, otherwise it would never have been a hit in 2008. Released at the good time (summer and happy is a good combination), it ended up high in the hit charts. Enjoy
Gabriella Cilmi- Sweet About Me
This song has been on my mind for some time, but when I heard it last week I thought: let’s make it a song of the day. It had a number one position in some hit charts, and I think that’s absolutely correct! It has those lines which are absolutely romantic, with the Wishing Well as central point. Isn’t that nice? But for me it’s more the voice which sticks to mind. It has something which draws me to the radio, and every time I hear it I listen it to the end… and there’s more: that strange sound which starts around 1:05… what is it?
So for today, another eighties classic:
Terence Trent D’Arby- Wishing Well
Today it’s friday. And as every friday, it’s superfriday with two songs!
The first song is a cover, which is made by a winner of the X-factor, and she made a few hits.
The song of the day is made by Lisa Lois, and it’s a cover of Euphoria.
Mattie & Wietze, where this song was recorded, is the morningshow of Q-Music.
The second song of the day is a song which is very popular in all hit charts.
It are Will.I.Am and Eva Simons with This Is Love.
And I know what you think right now: What does Will.I.Am do in the Song Of The Day? It were all Dutch songs, right?
Well, yes, but Eva Simons is very Dutch!
And that was all for now, tomorrow a new song!
