Song of the day: Randy Newman- Short People
A song from 1977 today! The song was written and sung by the same person who wrote You’ve Got A Friend In Me, which is in one of the Toy Story movies. The song is not written and inspired by what Newman thinks, mind you, but he sings about another person who thinks this way about short people. There even has been a person who tried to make a law to forbid radioplay of the song in the state of Maryland! However, it has been on number two in the Billboard chart, and it’s a bit forgotten. I personally think the song is very simple but good. (And I really like short people, so no offence if you’re short!) Enjoy

Song of the day: Donna Lewis- I Love You Always Forever
Actually I was planning to have another song today. After hearing it two times on my radio today, I had a feeling there was someone trying to tell me something. Sort of subconcious feeling saying: feature this song. And that’s how it came here. Sort of forgotten by most people, including me. What a shame, because it’s a great song. It seems most people would remember it because it was number 2, when the Macarena was taking place number one. A shame, because this is way better! Enjoy

Song of the day: Stardust- Music Sounds Better With You
Last week, I heard this song on the radio. It’s sort of a forgotten classic, because you (almost) never hear the record on the radio. Not strange, because they were a one hit wonder, but still… It was a number two song in the UK, which is quite good for a French house record. Maybe it’s good to put it forward as song of the day, to bring it back a bit. A nineties house hit, enjoy

Song of the day: Shanice- I Love Your Smile
Sometimes you hear a song of the radio, and you think: wow, I’ve forgotten about that song! Mostly you have forgotten it because it was not good, but sometimes because you don’t hear it often on the radio. The second option is the case for this song. And I get happy everytime I hear it! Tutututututuuutuutuuuut (can’t do it right when I’m typing) Enjoy:

Song of the day: Hollywood Beyond- What’s The Colour Of Money
Hi there,
I was listening to one of my favourite podcasts lately, and I heard this song, about which I honestly had forgotten a bit.
However, hearing it again brought some pleasure in my day, and it made me sing it for the rest of the day…
I believe they had one hit only, and that a second single wasn’t much of a success…
It’s Hollywood Beyond with What’s The Colour Of Money?
Tomorrow another song!
