Song of the day: Jona Lewie- Stop The Cavalry

jona_lewie-stop_the_cavalry

If I asked a regular person to spot the odd one out of the row of Christmas songs, this person would probably don’t know what I wanted him/her to do. However, this song would be the odd one out. And why? Because the song doesn’t have to do anything with Christmas! Only the line “wish I was at home with Christmas” and the bells seem to put people on a wrong track. The song itself is about the First Worldwar, and war in general. Strange, isn’t it? Enjoy:

Song of the day: Alice Cooper- School’s Out

Hello everyone,

Did you survive Christmas? Well, I still have one day to go! In the Netherlands, we actually have two days of Christmas.

Well, since we all are fed up with the Christmas songs, I have got something else for you.
I thought: Maybe it’s nice to put some power in!

Well, here’s your song of the day: With some power is here Alice Cooper, in the Muppet Show, with School’s Out.

Tomorrow a new song!

Band Aid- Do They Know It’s Christmas / Chris Rea- Driving Home For Christmas

Hello everyone,

I wish everybody a merry Christmas! And because of this special day, I have some presents for you!
Because today not one, but two songs! And both are Christmas songs!

The first one is made by Chris Rea, a great artist. His song is one of the Christmas classics.
Maybe you have to drive home too, I’m home, but okay… Driving home for Christmas!

The second song of today was made for charity. The record was made by a lot of different artists, including Ultravox and Duran Duran.
It’s Band Aid with Do They Know It’s Christmas?

I wish you a very merry Christmas, and I hope you have a nice day!

Greetings,Chris
