Song of the day: The Jacksons- Blame It On The Boogie

jackson 5 blame it on the boogie

Today a band which consists out of 5 brothers! It was from the late seventies, which explains the disco sound of the group. It was a performance together with Michael Jackson (a former member of the Jackson 5, but he was doing solo work). The strange thing is that a person called Mick Jackson has written a song which is almost the same, called Blame It On The Boogie. It is said the Jacksons stole it, but no one can prove it… however, we have a nice disco hit here, and that’s what matters! Enjoy:

Song of the day: Bee Gees- You Win Again

Hello everyone,

Here’s the new song of the day!

It’s a song from the eighties. The song is made by a band which returned in the eighties, and part of the success in the eighties comes because of the movie “Saturday Night Fever”.
You don’t know? It’s quite obvious, I hope. Of course I’m talking about the Bee Gees, who made the soundtrack for this movie.
However, the song of the day is not from this soundtrack. It’s called You Win Again.

It took a month to make this song. Barry Gibb wrote the melody, and his brother Maurice made the drums sound special.
A year later, in 1988, Andy Gibb died.

Tomorrow another song!
