Stef Bos had his first hit in 1991, with an autobiographical song.Stef Bos wrote the song for his father when he was studying in Antwerp, and doctors had said his father had only a few months left to live, due to cancer. When he visited his father, he couldn’t find the words to say, but in the train they came and he wrote the song in one time, with as most important sentence that he loved him. The song expresses how much he has become like his father. His father survived the cancer and first died in 2014. The song was a number 8 hit in the Netherlands in 1991. Enjoy
