FlinterFile: Player- Baby Come Back

The band Player made their debut in the charts in 1978.This song was written by the two founding members of the band, who had met on a party, because they both wore jeans – all other people wore white -: Peter Beckett and J.C. Crowley. The song was inspired by a girlfriend which Beckett had for five years and then broke up: the song expresses his feelings. The song would later be recorded by several artists and bands, like the Little River Band, which Beckett joined after Player stopped. This song would be a number 32 hit in the UK and number 1 in the US. Enjoy
