FlinterFile: The Sweet- Teenage Rampage

The Sweet wanted to move on from glamrock to hardrock in 1973.They tried to do so with the song Teenage Rampage, in which they call for a teenage revolution. The song was, as many songs by the Sweet, written by Nicki Chinn and Mike Chapman. Originally it wasn’t planned to be on an album, but as it became a hit, it was added to Desolation Boulevard. In the UK it charted at number 2, but didn’t get to number 1, as Tiger Feet by Mud took that position (which, ironically, also was written by Chapman & Chinn). Enjoy
