FlinterFile: Diana Ross- Missing You
On the first of April, 1984, Marvin Gaye was killed by his own father. This tragic event was the reason for Lionel Richie to write a song about it for Diana Ross. She was a friend of Marvin Gaye and together they had also recorded an album with duets, of which You Are Everything and Stop, Look, Listen were the most successful. The song was made from the conversations Lionel Richie and Diana Ross had about the death of Marvin Gaye. It made number 10 in the US and number 76 in the UK. Enjoy
