FlinterFile: Nilsson- Everybody’s Talkin’
This song by Nilsson was used in the movie Midnight Cowboy. It was written by Fred Neil in 1967, who also recorded the original version. It didn’t do well in the charts, but Harry Nilsson recorded a cover, which was planned to be released in 1968. However, as it would be used in the movie instead of Bob Dylan’s song Lay Lady Lay, the release was postponed until the movie was out. The song did well in the charts: it was number 23 in the UK and number 6 in the US. Enjoy
