FlinterFile: Neil Diamond- Skybird

This Neil Diamond song came from the soundtrack of the movie Jonathan Livingston Seagull. The movie tells the story of the seagull Jonathan Livingston, who wants to fly more than 60 miles per hour, something which he succeeds in. However, he is cast out of the flock, as there are different kinds of birds: skybirds, songbirds and nightbirds. This song is used at that point in the movie. The soundtrack album got a grammy, this song however didn’t sell as well as the album: number 75 in the US, a good number 13 in the Netherlands in 1974. Enjoy
