The Jamaican rapper Dillinger had a big hit in 1977 with his song Cokane In My Brain.He got his name from John Dillinger, an American gangster. One of his friends had named himself after Alcapone. This song was sampled from the song Do It Any Way You Wanna by People’s Choice. In turn, he would inspire other artists and bands, like the Clash. This song landed on number 1 in the Netherlands.
