FlinterFile: Tears For Fears- Woman In Chains
After the hit Sowing The Seeds Of Love, this song was released. The song, about a woman who is captive in a relationship with a bullying man, was written by Roland Orzabal. He had read some feminist literature and was inspired by societies who don’t have men at the head of society, but women. Phil Collins joined to play the drums on the song and they recorded it with Oleta Adams, who later would have hits like Window Of Hope. It was a number 36 hit in the US and number 26 in the UK. Enjoy
