What if you think a song is one of the best songs ever written?Well, you record a cover. Such was the case with Elton John, who recorded the Beatles song Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds in 1974. He asked John Lennon to help him out with the backing vocals and playing the guitar on the track. The problem was that John Lennon forgot some of the chords, so Davey Johnston (the guitarist of Elton John) had to help him… The song charted at number 10 in the UK and number 1 in the US, a position the original never got… Enjoy
