FlinterFile: Golden Earring- Bombay

The Golden Earring released the single Bombay in 1976.The song tells the story of a man who goes away from L.A. and settles in Bombay, not leaving a trace. The song is, like the whole album Contraband, dominated by guitars, which is logical, as the virtuose guitarist Eelco Gelling joined the band. In the Netherlands, it was a number 7 hit. In the US, it didn’t hit the charts, like the song Radar Love had done. Still a great song (one of their best), enjoy
