FlinterFile: Simon & Garfunkel- The Only Living Boy In New York
In 1970, Simon & Garfunkel would release their album Bridge Over Troubled Water. It would also be their last album, as their bond split apart. Art Garfunkel was acting in a movie, which was made by the director of The Graduate, and therefore was months in Mexico. Paul Simon didn’t get to be in the movie and therefore worked on the album in New York, lonely as he was. The song expressed his feelings, because the adressed Tom is the former artist name of Art Garfunkel. It was the B-side of the single Cecilia, which was a number 4 hit in the US. Enjoy
