FlinterFile: Albert Hammond- It Never Rains In Southern California
Albert Hammond wrote down the story of his life in 1972.He had lived for a time in Spain, where he asked for money, as he didn’t have any. Main thing was he didn’t want to tell his parents about it. One time he encountered his cousin, who he didn’t recognize. He took Albert Hammond to his hotel and gave him money, but didn’t tell his father, as he had said he would. Together with Mike Hazlewood he wrote it down, recorded and produced the record and made it a number 5 hit in the US. Enjoy
