FlinterFile: The Flower Pot Men- Let’s Go To San Francisco

This was the first single the Flower Pot Men released.On the height of the summer of love in 1967, they came with a song with the musical standards of Brian Wilson. John Carter and Ken Lewis, two song writers who wrote a number of hits together, for example for Herman’s Hermits, Brenda Lee and Mary Hopkins. The song was sung by Tom Burrows, who later also sang in Edison Lighthouse and the Brotherhood of Man. It was a number 4 hit in the UK. Enjoy
