FlinterFile: The Undertones- Here Comes The Summer
The Undertones, a punk rock band, made their debut in 1979.This song was originally meant to be an album track on their debut LP. It was written in 1978 by John O’Neill, who wrote most songs for the band. The original version of the album was released in May 1979, but the album was re-released in the same year, in October. This version had two singles on it, and a faster version of this song, which lasts for 1 minute and 45 seconds, making it the shortest single the Undertones released. In the UK, it was a number 34 hit. Enjoy
