FlinterFile: The Rolling Stones- We Love You
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Brian Jones were arrested on 12 February 1967 on drugs charges. Their fans supported them through their arrest and the Stones wanted to thank them for that, so they did that with this song. They also thanked the Who and the Beatles, who supported them. In the beginning of the song, you can hear some sounds that refer to the prison. On the song, John Lennon and Paul McCartney sang the backup vocals. Mick Jagger would retur the favour on Baby You’re A Rich Man. The song was a number 50 hit in the US and number 8 in the UK. Enjoy
