FlinterFile: Argent- Hold Your Head Up
After being in the Zombies, Rod Argent created his own band, which he called after himself. They released their third studio album in 1972, on which one of their best known songs can be found. The bass player of the Zombies, Chris White, wrote this song. After performing on Top of the Pops, the single, which originally was thought as an album track, sold a lot better. The single was a lot shorter than the album version, making the song run for 3 minutes and 15 seconds, where the album track runs 3 minutes longer. It was a number 5 hit in both the UK and the US.
