FlinterFile: Madonna- Into The Groove
In 1985, Madonna would have her first UK number 1 hit. Madonna and Stephen Bray wrote this song for the movie Desperately Seeking Susan. The song is about the excitement of dancing. The bridge of the song was a sort of improvisation by Madonna, who sang “Live out your fantasy here with me”, when Stephen Bray had troubles with writing something for the bridge. The song was the B-Side of Angel in the US, which was sold a lot because of this song. In the end, Angel would become a number 5 hit. In the UK, this was Madonna’s best selling single (about 17.8 million) and her first number 1 hit. Enjoy
