FlinterFile: Leo Sayer- One Man Band
Roger Daltrey released his debut solo album in 1973. On the album was a song called One Man Band, written by Leo Sayer and David Courtney, who played the acoustic guitar. The song remembered Roger Daltrey of the place he grew up, Shepherd’s Bush, which also was the place where the Who was formed. From the album Daltrey, Leo Sayer covered two songs for his own album Just a Boy, which was released a year later: Giving It All Away and One Man Band. One Man Band hit the charts, making it to number 96 in the US and number 6 in the UK. Enjoy
