This song from Squeeze was written by Glenn Tilbrook (music) and Chris Difford (lyrics).Chris Difford had been on holiday in a holiday park. He wanted the song to have the atmosphere of that holiday, a sort of ‘getting away from it all’. In the lyrics, he wanted to get the style of the Small Faces. The music to the song was written by Glenn Tilbrook, who had bought a mini Moog (synthesizer), a piano and a recorder. The song was written quickly, played (with Jools Holland on the piano) and became number 44 in the UK charts. Enjoy
