This song startedas a B-side to Chris Bell’s single I Am The Cosmos. This song was released in 1978, but it never charted. It was covered by This Mortal Coil, a collective which was founded by Ivo Watts-Russell, the founder of the record label 4AD. Many different artists played the songs. This cover was made by Kim Deal (known from the Pixies) and Tanya Donnelly. Both were in the Breeders. They recorded the song for the album Blood, which also featured I Am The Cosmos in a cover version. However, this song finally became a hit in 1991 in the Netherlands, reaching number 17. Enjoy
