FlinterFile: Bruce Springsteen- Hungry Heart

Bruce Springsteen had his first top 10 hit in 1980, with Hungry Heart. He actually wrote it for the Ramones, as Joey Ramone had asked him to write a song for them. He wrote Hungry Heart, but kept it, as his producer told him he could better record it himself. When he recorded it, his voice was made faster a little bit, which also caused that he sung a little higher. In the backing vocals, two former members of the Turtles can be heard – Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan. The song proved to be a pop hit, making it to number 28 in the UK and number 5 in the US. Enjoy
