Santana started in 1966 as the Santana Blues Band. They soon shortened their name to Santana.In 1969, they released their first album, simply called Santana. For the album, they recorded a cover of the song Jin-Go-Lo-Ba, which was a hit for the Nigerian musician Babatunde Olatunji. It was not a very big success, only reaching number 56 in the US, but in the Netherlands it was a big hit, reaching number 4! Enjoy
