Sally Was A Good Old Girl is a song which was first recorded by Hank Cochran in 1962. For Hank Cochran, it was his first single and first hit. The song was then recorded by a lot of artists, including Fats Domino, Waylon Jennings and Lee Hazlewood. They all added their personal touch to the song, just like Shocking Blue, who recorded it in 1969 and released it in 1970, after having their breakthrough hit with Venus. Enjoy
