FlinterFile: Captain Sensible- Damned On 45
Captain Sensible originally was a member of the Johnny Moped Band, but changed to the Damned in 1976. He was bassist, keyboardist and lead guitarist, but eventually was the singer of the band. When he went solo in the eighties, he couldn’t forget his time with this band: he made a medley out of several song by the Damned, put it on the B-side (which became a double A-side) of Glad It’s All Over and called it Damned On 45 (probably inspired by the Stars On 45). It was a number 6 hit in the UK in 1984. Enjoy
