Song of the day: The Mama’s And The Papa’s- Monday Monday
In 1966, John Phillips wrote a new song for his band.As they were waiting for California Dreaming to be released, they wanted a new song to record. John Phillips promised a song with an universal appeal. And he kept his promise: the song is about the feeling when the weekend is over, a feeling everybody knows.
