FlinterFile: Love Affair- Everlasting Love

In 1968, the band The Love Affair recorded the song Everlasting Love. The song was written by Mac Gayden and Buzz Cason, who had written it for Robert Knight, the man who recorded the song first. The recording of the Love Affair happened with studio musicians, the only real member of the band was the singer Steve Ellis. The song was given a Phil Spector like production, with a complete orchestra instead of the band. It was a big hit for them, reaching number 1 in the UK. Enjoy
