FlinterFile: Tommy Roe- Dizzy
In 1969, Tommy Roe had his second number 1 hit.He already scored a hit with the song Sheila, a song he recorded in 1962 and wrote when he was 14. This song was written with Freddy Weller, who later became a country singer. They knew each other already when Tommy suggested Freddy as a replacement guitarist for Paul Revere & the Raiders. The chorus of Dizzy was already finished, and they wrote the rest together in the tour bus. The song became a big hit, number 1 in the UK and the US. Enjoy
