FlinterFile: Ella Fitzgerald- I Got Rhythm

In 1930, this song was written for the musical Girl Crazy. It was written by George Gershwin, with his brother Ira. Ira had a problem with rhyming, but there was a solution: not rhyming! It was a big change, as everything was normally rhymed, but it worked. In the original musical, Ethel Merman performed the song, but ever since it has been recorded numerous times. One of my favourite recordings is by the great Ella Fitzgerald. Enjoy
