FlinterFile: Joe Smooth- Promised Land
In 1987, Joe Smooth released his biggest hit. The DJ and producer helped to develop the House genre with this song. The song is about the people, who should live together in peace and so reaching the paradise, or as in the song: the promised land. The song did little when released, but after the Style Council covered it and made the charts with it, the original became a hit too: number 56 in the UK. Enjoy
