FlinterFile: Boz Scaggs- Lido Shuffle
In 1976, Boz Scaggs recorded a variation on Fats Domino. He had been busy for some time with a shuffle, which was sung by Fats Domino, The Fat Man. He sang along with it, but didn’t know how to fill it in. He was helped by David Paich, who had written with him before. They used phrases which were not often used, as well as the name Lido. The song was slowly becoming a hit, since the first single of the album was released a year before this song became a hit. Eventually it became a number 13 hit in the US and number 11 in the UK.
