FlinterFile: Kate & Anna McGarrigle- Complainte Pour Ste-Catherine
In 1975, the sisters Kate and Anna McGarrigle released their debut album. They lived in the French part of Canada, and therefore released an album with English and French songs. For this song, the sisters worked with poet Philippe Tatartcheff to write it. Kate died in 2010 to cancer and left us a son who is also active in the music industry: Rufus Wainwright.
