Song of the day: The Fray- Over My Head (Cable Car)

the fray over my head

In 2005, the Fray released their first single. The song was originally performed as Cable Car, but was soon renamed. The song is about the relationship of Isaac Slade, the singer, with his brother, whose nickname is Cable Car. When they had not seen each other for a long time, they decided to fight it out. The song was written about that, recorded as a demo, which ended up at a radio station in Denver. They started playing the song and soon it was one of the most played songs of 2005. In the UK it was number 19 and in the US it was number 8. Enjoy
