Song of the day: Terence Trent D’Arby- Wishing Well
This song has been on my mind for some time, but when I heard it last week I thought: let’s make it a song of the day. It had a number one position in some hit charts, and I think that’s absolutely correct! It has those lines which are absolutely romantic, with the Wishing Well as central point. Isn’t that nice? But for me it’s more the voice which sticks to mind. It has something which draws me to the radio, and every time I hear it I listen it to the end… and there’s more: that strange sound which starts around 1:05… what is it?
So for today, another eighties classic:
Terence Trent D’Arby- Wishing Well
